About Me

Erica Diamond is a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Storrs, CT  For the past decade, she has also worked as a family therapist and advocate at local children's courts and at social services agencies in the Northeastern Connecticut region.

Erica is a graduate of both Duke University and the University of Connecticut's Family Therapy Program.  Among her areas of expertise are: 
  • Marital therapy for couples of all ages.  Erica is particularly interested in helping couples repair and rebuild their relationship after an affair.
  • Family Therapy, particularly with families of teenagers.
  • PTSD with a specialty in using acupressure to help calm clients' overactive nervous systems. 
  • Family Therapy for the wives and children of alcoholics.
  • Mind/Body connection to promote relaxing and better emotional balance.  Erica use a variety of tools and modalities including reflexology, acupressure and Bach Flower essences.

Erica Diamond is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. She offers groups throughout the year as well as home vists to clients with exceptional needs.
